The Friends of the Performing Arts Center Gallery accepts a donation of $550.00 per gallery exhibit.  Exhibits will run for approximately six weeks.  A non-refundable deposit of $225.00, along with the completed gallery rental contract, will be required upon acceptance of your application.  The balance of $225.00 is due on or before the day artwork is delivered.

 

The Friends of the Performing Arts Center Gallery

• Provide Gallery Curator to be on site for acceptance of artwork and installation within the determined dated and time frame agreed upon in this contract,

• Coordinate activities associated with the reception, including refreshments.

• Publicize the exhibit on the Friends of the PAC website, Facebook page and PAC Playbill if      available.

 

EXHIBITOR:

• Will only work with the Curators of the Friends of the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center who are the liaison between the Gallery and the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center. It is unacceptable for the artist and/or exhibitor to contact anyone other than the Curators, failure to follow this policy could result in exclusion from future exhibitions. No artwork will be dropped off or picked up unless it is on the designated dates and hours.

All artworks must have D-rings with or without wire to interface with the STAS hanging system in the gallery.

• Upon acceptance the Lead for the exhibitor must submit the required JotForm with the name of the exhibit including Artist name, Title, Medium, Size (including frame), contact information and pricing, etc.  If there is branding artwork for the body of artwork this must also be submitted to be used for marketing.

• A separate inventory list with artist name, artwork name, size, medium, cost and contact information is required by the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center.

​

• Exhibitor will create all artist labels that will work with the Plexi label holder system used by the gallery.

​

• The back of each artist’s work is to be tagged with Artist name, Title, Medium, Size (including frame), contact information and pricing, etc,

​

• Exhibitor must create a full color catalogue including pictures, details and contact information for each artist to be used to market the show and give clients information on how to purchase artwork.

​

• All artworks must be delivered and picked up on the designed dates specified in this contract.

 

• Exhibitor/Artist are responsible for their own sales with a 30% of sale donation made payable to The Friends of the Performing Arts Center. Due before the artwork is picked up from the gallery.

 

• Open reception will be provided by the Friends of the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center Fine Arts Gallery

Exhibitors are required to stay for the duration of their openings.

Indemnification

The solo artist or group indemnifies the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, City of Ormond Beach, Friends of the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, its agents, employees,, volunteers, or any other person or entity associated with the Gallery against all claims, causes of action, demands, or suits for any damage the solo artist or group, their invitees, guests or any other person may suffer as a result of any act or omission by the solo artist or group whether the damage involves and individual or work of art.

 

Insurance

The Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, City of Ormond Beach nor the Friends of the Ormond Beach Performing arts Center Gallery are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the works of art while in its possession or while on display, specifically from the date of the delivery to the Gallery until the delivery to the purchaser or repossession by the solo artist or group. This includes damage or loss from placement of artwork in the Gallery. All reasonable care will be taken with the artwork. The Gallery assumes no responsibility for artwork damaged upon receipt or return.

Default

A $200.00 Storage fee will be assessed for artwork/display props left on premises. Artwork/displays props not retrieved after 30 days will be sold, repurposed or disposed of as needed.

Governing Law

The exhibitor agrees to abide by all rules and policies of the City of Ormond Beach, Ormond Beach Performing arts Center Gallery and Friends of the Performing Arts Center including but not limited to gallery guidelines/standards (see attached).  All decisions made by the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center are FINAL.  This agreement shall be governed. Construed and interpreted by, though, and under the Laws of the State of Florida.
