GALLERY STANDARDS & GUIDELINES

Entry Fee

​

  • There is an entry fee of $15.00, non-refundable, to be exhibited at the Friends of the Performing Arts Center Fine Art Gallery.  Entry Submission JotForm must be filled out for review.

  • Once artwork is reviewed an email will be sent out with results.

  • Upon acceptance Solo Artist and or Group will be asked to fill out a final JotForm with all required information, including 50% fee donation and signed Gallery Invitational Contract to secure exhibition dates.

 

Artwork

​

  • Artwork must not exceed 60’ in any one direction.

  • The exhibit will be installed by the exhibitor under the guidance of the Friends of the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Gallery curators.

  • Artwork will be dropped off and installed on the same day as designated on the signed contract.

  • Multiples: Diptychs and triptychs will not be accepted.

  • Auxiliary Materials: Statements, explanations, prose, poetry etc. will not be displayed.

  •  Found Materials/Objects: Found objects and materials must be fully integrated into the work and show significant evidence of the artist’s hand.

  • All exhibits will be juried, and Friends of the PAC Gallery Curators Reserves the right to refuse any work deemed not suitable for a family friendly environment.

  • The Friends of the PAC Gallery also reserves the right to use images of any exhibited artwork on our Website, Facebook Page, and in current and future publicity materials.

  • All art work must have been completed no more than five years prior to exhibition and not shown in any previous Friends of the PAC Art Gallery, Unless other arrangements have been approved between the artist and or group by the Friends of the PAC Art Gallery.

 

FRAMING AND HANGING SPECIFICATIONS

 

  • All 2-D work must be properly framed and have 2 D-rings. The artwork may or may not have wire. The STAS system will used the D-rings to hang each piece of artwork

  • Only D Rings will be acceptable.  Sawtooth and snap-in hooks will not work with our hanging system.

  • The PAC Art Gallery uses the STAS System, and all artworks must be hung from it. No work will be hung from the ceilings.

  • We request that gallery-wrapped canvases have finished edges with no visible staples.

  • We suggest the use of white, off-white, grey or black frames and mattes. We strongly suggest that when it comes to framing, simpler is better.

 

INSURANCE

​

  • The Friends of the PAC Art Gallery will take all due precautions for the safety and handling of the work. While the utmost care is given to all entries, the Friends of the PAC Art Gallery:

  • Artists agree to waive liability and hold harmless Friends of the PAC Art Gallery when completing their registration form to enter their artwork for shows and exhibitions.

  • The Artist is fully responsible for any insurance of their work during transit, as well as before, during, and after the exhibition.

  • The Artist is responsible for delivery and pick-up of their artwork at the designated date and time specified on signed contract.

 

SALES/PAYMENT 

​

  • All sales and payments for artwork must be handled by the artist.  No sales will go through or be accepted by the Friends of the Performing Arts Center Gallery,

A 30% donation of the sale price will be made by the artist to the Friends of the Performing
