The OBPAC is a 23,000+ square foot theatre that seats 600 patrons in a stadium-style setting. The venue hosts national, regional, and local theatrical troupes, schools, dance programs, concerts, and seminars. The facility is equipped with professional sound and lighting to meet the needs of all performers/performances.
THE PAC STORY
The Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center is located on the site of what was once the Calvary Assembly of God Church at 399 North U.S. 1. The City purchased the property in 1987. the Center opened its doors in 1992, with the Ormond Players, the original adult community theater group, as well as, with the Children's Musical Theatre Workshop, still in existence to this day. Since its opening, the Center has become a notable venue for traveling productions.
The theatre is fully accessible to patrons with disabilities and offers hearing-assisted devices free of charge. The 3,000 square foot studio offers an area for show rehearsals, meetings, as well as, theatrical and dance classes.
